Broken Down Cinema

So we’ve got the Devil Tree, a cinema that has seen better days, the house of a town drunkard and a bed and breakfast at which the owner attempts to serve her homemade shortbread to all guests. I’m channelling small town, tourist baring Scotland with each paragraph. Perhaps it’s coming across a bit too humorous but the more off bear parts are supposed the contrast that book’s more serious themes.

I managed to fit another 500 words in between 8 and 9pm tonight. Not a huge stride in the grand scheme but obviously superior to doing nothing. I’ve been at work today and 8pm was the earliest I could start after washing up the dishes. If I can maybe do about 1000 words on my days off and fit the occasional 500 into evenings after works then we might be onto something.
